Our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is dedicated to education and environmental suatainability. We have never chemically treated our bees and use organic methods when necessary. Our Apiary Certified Naturally Grown.
We enjoy teaching school children and the public about our fascinating pollinators- honeybees and threats to their survival. Honeybees are responsible for pollination of 30% of our food. Without bees you would not enjoy such things as watermelon, blueberries, squash, almonds, pumpkins and more. If threats to honeybees continue our food supply will drastically change in the years to come- and not for the better.
In recent years, many of us have become aware native honeybees are in decline and in danger due to many threats including man, habitat loss, chemicals etc. We need more awareness and more hobbyist chemical free beekeepers too!
In addition to education we hope to enhance pollination, flora and the environment through chemical-free beekeeping and sustainable agriculture. We hope to promote and inspire more stewards for sustainable (chemical- free) beekeeping and  agriculture while helping protect the environment.
